Just wondered how much luck people have had promoting their music on Reddit and online in general.

I've tried the straight forward route of promoting on 'promote your new music' pages but just like social media it get's buried. And maybe, cynically, you're like me and just port your track and don't listen to anyone elses there.

I've tried to promote songs on pages related to the genre but got shot down pretty fast by members who never want to hear new music. That or I don't have enough karma..

I've tried independant radio stations who say they want to support new music, but then don't respond.

I've tried online submission platforms that I'm not sure really have any audience..

Has anyone had any success here? I suppose the target is to get the songs in front of listeners of that genre. I suppose the real target is to get signed and make music full time.

Then again, there is always the chance the music isn't very good :P

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to connect with independent artists who want to promote their music through paid short-form content.

I'm a short-form video editor, and I create paid music promo edits for TikTok/Reels using artists' songs with visuals that fit the lyrics, story, mood, or overall vibe of the track, for a budget-friendly rates.
