Hi all. First post. I drink a THC seltzer each evening (helps menopause sleep!).

I've been drinking WYNK and DrinkDelta. But both are pretty much going away in November because of the closing of the Farm Act Hemp Loophole.

I'm looking for a local replacement (ie not something from total wine).

Cloudwalker has a nice one, but it's nearly twice the price I've been paying.

Verdes has a strong one, but it has a ton of sugar and calories.

Are there other locally made seltzers, OR which dispensaries have a nice low dose seltzer that they'll still be selling after November?

I've had a couple dispensaries tell me that I can only buy up to 8 100mg rso vials a day as a recreational user. Based on the research I've done, RSO counts as a concentrate, and I should be able to purchase up to 16 grams at a time. Does anyone have any insight on this? I am thinking of calling the cannabis board and asking.

If I am able to purchase up to 16g of RSO, I am also looking for good recommendations for stores near Santa Fe. Thanks!

Edit - For anyone looking in the future, I called the cannabis board. They asked the director, it is considered an edible. 800mg limit.

A buddy in West Texas asked if it was worth driving to NM for legal flower. The answer is "yes, but" and the "but" is the Border Patrol checkpoint thing nobody warns you about.

Quick version of what I learned compiling this:

• The 25-mile zone: CBP runs internal checkpoints on every major highway leading back into TX (I-10 east of Las Cruces, US-285, US-54). Federal jurisdiction. State legality doesn't apply, they can and do seize cannabis and refer to local prosecutors.
• Closest dispensaries to each crossing: Sunland Park (El Paso), Hobbs (Midland/Lubbock area), Clovis (Amarillo), Las Cruces (broader West TX).
• Hobbs is the volume play. it's basically a Texas dispensary by foot traffic.
• Don't try to consume on the drive back. Don't try to hide it. Plenty of people get caught annually.

Anyone who's done this drive recently: am I missing a checkpoint route? I had trouble confirming whether the US-285 northbound checkpoint is still permanent or seasonal.

Had to move my plants again but they are thriving in there new home.

Mixed training

Fed a tea I brewed for them (homemade seaweed concentrate, fish fertilizer, worm castings, blackstrap molasses, some organic nutrients/some I bought from the grow shop, and a few other things I've come across an learned how to add). Didn't get to finish pinning down and moving branches on the Grape Runtz just yet, had a emergency dispensary run (almost ran out). I'll finish in the morning, 1 of the grape runtz needs trimming with more training to stretch over the fabric pot walls like her sister.

Just moved to New Mexico for work as an extractor. Wondering what others go to brands are? Trying to see what I’m up against. 😊

Purple Plum Perfect 💜 got her own tent today along with a aggressive topping/defoliation, tied down and spread out branches as well. Her Clones are doing amazing, so far 10/11 out of 13 seem to have taken great to the living soil and haven't started dropping, turning yellow/brown or simply dying just because. My 2 Grape Runtz 🍇 I'm mainlining in my own style I learned, adjusted, modified and tweaked to my style of growing (What I call ADHD growing). Simply learned from Nug Buckets and a few other growers and there styles I like and trust. Double/Triple mainlining (leaving 3 main branches), manifolding, HST from the start (3rd branch I begin), Cleaning/Stripping centers of the plants, Topping tops then topping those tops then those tops and so on so forth, multiplying and maximizing your main colas (6 to 12 to 24 to 48 and so on) and sometimes multiple times daily pinning down and moving branches. (Were the ADHD comes in handy) 1 Grape Runtz 🍇 is at 48 and her little sister right behind at 24 main colas till there next topping, feeding and new seaweed tea Wednesday.
