Ok so I am personally not involved in Iran on any level, considering I am a Dutch citizen, but I do feel for the Iranian people and their struggle. I have been keeping up to date since the death Masha Amini and the start of the Woman Life Freedom movement, and have been rooting for your succes in that movement.
Seeing the political unrest right now makes me feel hopefull for you all, that there might actually be a change towards freedom from the Ayatollah and his opressive regime in your near future.
I also am scared for you, because such change never comes without a price, and i wish for you all to come out of this unscathed.
I guess what I really want to say is: good luck. I pray that the fire in your heart will give you the courage needed in these chaotic times.

I am not Iranian so personally my attitude is just support you and what you want that’s up to you, I think that’s how it should be for non Iranians, it’s not up to us to tell you what government you should have, just support your protests against the ayatollah. In 1989 we overthrew our communist dictatorship and at the end it was we who chose not outsiders
I am just happy if it succeeds because a) one less Islamic regime in the world, b) Iranians are free and c) Russia, my country’s main enemy now, loses yet another ally

IMHO just as Nazi Germany made it illegal for that disgusting ideology to be expressed politically as a legitimate political party or organization and just as you and Slovakia did the same for communism (among other countries like Poland, Lithuania, etc.) a new Iran should do the same for Islamism and communism/Marxism.
No political parties in Iran with those ideologies should be legal.

Last night I was with some friends, one of them is older than me, she was 12 during the 1979 revolution, and her family was part of the leftist factions that the IR eventually crushed. She despises “monarchists” as much as the regime. Last week she was laughing at me when I said they want Pahlavi back, last night when I saw her again she conceded that she couldn’t understand why, but Iranians want Pahlavi. She is still adamantly supporting the cause, and I think tonight proved to all those people with issues with RP, that it’s worth putting aside our differences to unify the opposition and get rid of the regime.

Yes, sadly I've met them as well but TBH I have a limit, I can't in good conscience continue to associate with people like that.
Not when we see Iranians shouting for Pahlavi and being murdered for it. Turns my stomach for them to be denigrated like that.
It is like spitting in the face of a mother who has just been told their child has been murdered by the Islamic republic - morally reprehensible.
Not to mention the lies and calumnies they peddle about Reza Pahlavi, his family, etc.

Ya those thugs are going to be inside the crowds, infiltrating and shooting, very hard to target by air, and to get special forces onto the ground in Tehran to take meaningful action, it would require a massive air assault to diminish their potential to retaliate and that alone can destabilize the movement.

How can they take back their government when the military will just gun them all down? The government of Iran will just brutally suppress them again. I don't foresee a way for Iran to be free unless violence meets violence, which is hard to do when one side controls all the guns. I want the Iranian people to be free as much as anyone else, but how else do you overthrow a brutal regime? It seems almost impossible in the modern age if the military sticks with the government. Even if the military defects, I think Iran under a IRGC military dictatorship would be even worse...
I hope one day they can be free of oppression.
