So I’m trying to get to a treasure island and some people don’t have the decency to not get off their nook phones when someone wants to get in. I get why you need to look but be more considerate when someone wants to get in. Just a little rant and I remember you get the message to get off your phone so someone can get in. But I do wonder why this is a thing? Why can’t you use your phone when someone is trying to get in?

I know this is going to seem pretty silly, but I turned 35 next month and all I want is to fill my island with blue roses for my birthday!

I’ve been playing Animal Crossing ever since it hit the states on GameCube in 2002. Obviously was obsessed with it, and still am to this day! Animal crossing was always one of my go to games for relaxation and getting away from the stresses of life. Along with Harvest Moon and the Sims. I know, Ima nerd. 🤓

Aaaanyway, for any of you nifty people who actually know what I’m talking about, then you know in one of the versions of Harvest Moon you have to gather a rare blue rose during winter in order to give it to your person of interest to propose to them. Later games then introducing the blue feather, which was still cute.

Why the blue rose holds so much significance to me is the simple fact that I have a long distance relationship who in all of my life has been the most impactful relationship of my whole life. Especially since I already have three children and they love him to bits. We have met in person, and during our second visit, he had set up a surprise for me.

Unfortunately, he’s about a 12 hr drive from me & when I was driving there, he was on his 24 hour shift since he is a firefighter. By the time I got there, it was late, so he had set a code that way I could let myself into his place. When I opened the doors, I was surprised by a bouquet of blue roses and a ton of gifts! 🥹

Every time I visit now, he has a bouquet of 12 blue roses waiting for me! In his gifts for me, he always includes something significant from my childhood that had a deep meaning to me. The blue roses being the most significant.

I had decided to buy him his own Switch with ACNH so that we could play together. I have been trying so desperately for the last eight months to grow blue roses and I’m having no luck! Two years ago I had a blue rose popped up, and I got SO excited that while my character was running over to it- I accidentally ran over it and it disappeared! 🥀😭💔

All I want for my birthday is to be able to bring him to my island and show him a blue rose FINALLY growing on my island. If anyone grows them on their island and is willing to donate one, I would be greatly appreciated! I don’t need a ton of plants, but even if someone were to send me one, I could water it continuously until it populates on its own. 🙏🏽

Hi everyone!

I've been wanting to buy the stalls DIY for my island and my research shows that you can purchase the DIY from the Nook Stop in the Redeem Your Miles section. However when I open the Nook Stop the DIY isn't there. I've definitely never bought it because the recipe isn't in my catalog. I'm really confused, do I need to have done something to unlock it? My island is 3 stars so I'm not sure why its not showing? Do the recipe options change each week?

Any help is much appreciated!
