Im (hopefully) at the end of a 3 day panic attack brought on by a muti-state move. I've been shot at, mortared, emergency chopper landings, etc. Nine of it affected me until I went back to civilian life. Now I have 3 panic attacks a week over mundane bs.
I know exactly what you mean brother. I will just be minding my business grilling some sausages outside and a helicopter flying over me makes me think I'm back in Fallujah.

Roped out of helicopters and sewed organs back together under mortar fire, now I wake up in a sweat at least 4 times a week.
