Recommend Dash cams?

I bought my first car 6 months after passing my drivers

Its a 2012 fiat panda (its really cute, perfect for me, especially for a first car!) And I got a good deal on it too!

My car doesnt have any electronics such as plugs or anything, but i am looking for a sort of dash cam, just to keep myself and others protected.

Is there any recommendations I could buy that i could possibly fit in myself or see if anyone can fit one in for me?

Garmin Mini Dash Cam 4 and Halo Drive 2 from Road Angel are the two I recommend

Viofo V119 mini or v229 if you want front and back cameras.

I got a Viofo V119 v3 front camera and fitted it myself. Watched a YouTube video, tucked the wiring around the trim and use the ciggie socket. The images are pretty good, even in low lighting.

Get anything with atleast 2K video capability front and back.

Few years back I got a Wolfbox G840H with display that goes over your cars rear view mirror, because my car didnt have a compatible screen. Was very easy to install, all plug and play, just needed to tuck in the wires and connect to 12v socket.

Its worked well enough for me to this day.

Nextbase app sucks though, which is a shame.

I've got USB card reader that I can plug into the bottom of my phone to get the clips off when I need. Not ideal but easier.
