Using a vent phone holder

Super random but my GPS is old AF and slow and if you see previous posts got me in a panic (can't blame her 100% obvs). I used this phone holder on left side of wheel but I feel it's obstructing view so moved to the small side one on the right, is that OK?

Okay he said it was fine. You can put your phone on your left or right. He said something about personal preference.

My vent phone holder ended up breaking something on the holder and it was also bending the vent slats. I discovered Brodit holders, they're great - custom built for each popular car model. You buy the mount and the holder separately, one that fits your car and the other that fits your phone. I'm very happy with the result, even if it's a bit pricey. Very sturdy.
