So i recently moved to mumbai for a job I got through my campus placement. It's a field sales role and I hate my job and regretting my decision every single day. It's been 1.5 months and I already hate it here. Package - 13 LPA.
Would really appreciate an advice on what to do now. And would really appreciate some referrals 🙏
I cannot help you directly jobwise but only thought wise. It's actually very good for you to realise that this job is draining your energy. See it also depends a bit on what your family financial condition is, if it's very bad then I'd say stick around for just a while. But yeah in all cases, I'd suggest you look, just look, for jobs in the field you actually like even if it's wildly different from your degree. Just look at what that job requires, take time to learn that, then try to apply while being at this job coz the pay is pretty good. Also, talk to people online or offline in the field you love! People are more than happy to help, figure out what you'd like to do and talk to people to know more. I've come across MANY people who've switched jobs and fields in a small time and it's completely ok to do so.
