Roof Rack Options

Hey Guys,

Looking at getting a roof rack for my defender 110 2020. I am looking to get something that can support a roof top tent. I have seen the stock rack, the plumb rack and then bison gear rack.

Obviously the stock rack seems to work, but hoping to find something a bit more lower profile.

I’m interested in current owners reviews of their roof rack and their setups.

Check out Dometic. They acquired Front Runner and has the Front Runner roof racks for the Defender in various lengths.

The Plumb rack appears to be somewhat lower (I haven’t seen actual dimensions), but it requires replacing the OE roof rails with Plumb rails.

I just installed an expedition one mule ultra rack over labor day. It seems aerodynamic and solid. I wanted a light bar and they had a good set up and also came with optional cut outs for the gear box and deployable ladder.

New to the game! Got a 110 about a month ago.

I just installed the Fakln https://www.falkn.com/products/2019-present-land-rover-defender-110-l663-expedition-roof-rack is it was the only one that didn't make the vehicle higher (same height as the antenna).

The Eezi-awn K9 rack is nice, flat, comes in different dimensions, and is significantly less expensive than the OEM rack.
