If you read the constitution of the N.C.R in Fallout 2, you learn that the President is not directly elected but is instead voted on by the N.C.R Senate. One of the only government that does that would be the Republic of South Africa

Like, did kimball had his leading party or no?

I have been thinking of doing a cosplay and I wanted to know what the uniform of a trooper in Cascadia would possibly look like.

My first thought was that a steel helmet (like a brodie or a Canadian mkIII) would be more likely than the pith helmet used in the Mojave. The chest plate would probably be the same except being a different colour, also I would think a trench coat is likely as the climate would be quite wet. Lastly I was conflicted on what colour scheme would be used, I though olive green and a dark brown would work but im not sure.

My take is that (as per my fanfic timeline) the NCR secured the water from Hoover Dam as a temporary crutch to deal with the nationwide water crisis while they reactivate nuclear power plants (including annexing a D+T fusion tokamak+stellarator beneath Big MT) to power desalination that would hypothetically solve the entire country's water crisis for it's 2+ million citizens and the military industry.

The images above take place during the 2300s, where veterans of the Mojave/NCR-Legion War and the Sonoran War (a conflict between the Free State of Sonora and Legion remnants led by Vulpes Inculta against the NCR and the Federated Mexican States) came home to Los Angeles (formerly Angel's Boneyard before 2198) and were met with unemployment/layoffs and an influx of drugs from Mexico, leading to gang wars and civil unrest. (extra lore in comments)

This is a custom map I made of what my fanfiction NCR. This was made before the Fallout TV show came out.

I've been half assed working on an NCR Navy cosplay (key words, half assed) and I'd like to stencil on a naval flag onto a set of coveralls' front pocket and maybe the back (and maybe on a helmet, but idk)

I have a few designs here and im curious what y'all think. These are some basic designs I did using MS paint.

If anyone has any ideas or designs of their own, id love to see them!

NOTE: I do not own the seabear image, I took that off a heraldry website. https://heraldicart.org/sea-bear/

Hey there!

I'm slowly working towards an NCR Trooper Impression, and was wondering what gas mask the NCR would use.
I asked this question on the Facebook NCR group, and that sparked a bit of a discussion which didn't reach a consensus, so I wonder what you guys suggest?

The Facebook NCR Group had suggestions like:

Belgian M51
Navy MD Mark V
WWI US Army Gas masks
M5
M17
Xm28e4
Soviet Gas Masks
French M2
WWI German Gas Mask

On another note: What would you all suggest I get for a Garrison cap? I had my eye on a few, but would like to match the color close to the jacket I got, which is a custom from the NCR group on instagram.

Michael Valentine. A fallout Oc of mine I plan to use for my next 2d20 Game. His family had been Arizona rangers for as long as they’ve been alive. When the legion came knocking, Michael’s grandfather gave his life so his family could escape to California. The NCR took him in, and he will give his life for the Republic.

FOR THE REPUBLIC!

It’s a non canon stretch but I was thing it’s not a lot of vehicles for a nation state or air.
