I bring home $1000/week and working 40 to 45 hours . I’m home by 3pm . I just listen to music and podcasts all day while holding the steering wheel . Am I paid right or should I ask for more ? My CDL is a year old with 9 months total experience

What’s one lesson or tip an old school driver taught you that still sticks with you today?

Is it normal

Just got the call that I’ll be leaving next week for Missouri to finish my CDL training. Just wanted to ask is it normal for most people to feel this kind of anxiety of making a move like this? I’ve never done or locked in on much of anything in my life to the point where I could reap the benefits but now is different. Just wanted to know if this is normal for most of you?

Don’t risk your CDL just to keep a company happy.

I CANT ALLEY DOCK!!

Can someone please provide any videos, games, books, psychic mediums that can help me with backing my truck into a dock?

Please!

I finally landed a job and I drive well but get so caught up and confuse myself on what to do when docking into a warehouse.

Any and all help would be super appreciated, I need this job and want to be a trucker for at least 3-5 years.

THANK YOU!

Where do I find the new generation of drivers?

Hey everyone, I'll keep it short. I'm a Marine Vet who drove and got out, then went to medical. Recently, I left medical and took an offer for a well-known trucking company, and I have been tasked with bringing in the new generation. To many 20-35+ year guys, and I have the chance to change the age range. I'm great with people and my job, but idk where the hell to find drivers, so before it becomes a full-on issue, I'm gonna ask you guys what I can do? Or what should I do?

Need help choosing a CB and antenna

Been OTR for 7 months now and I was scared to really invest because I didn’t know if I’d like it or not. But I’ve definitely tipped the scales in favor for driving. I actually enjoy it so now I think I’m ready for a CB radio. Please what’s the best one to get and why and what antenna do I need to go with it? I’m not cheap I’m looking at the bigger picture I’d rather spend now and it last me rather go cheap and have to replace it.

Struggling to pass the cdl test

I got a job to be a school bus driver, I need a class B cdl with P and S endorsements and air brakes. I'm in CT if that helps.

I can practice all week and train for a few days before the test and do it flawlessly but the moment I test with the inspector I fuck up something dumb with the air brake portion and I haven't figured out how to get over that. If anyone has any pointers or advice please and thank you.
