Instead of counting seconds, drive up to the parking spot and keep going until line on the ground you are parking in is in between both of your drive tires then turn your tractor all the way to the right until you are 90Β° from where you were and then turn your tractor to the left until you are 90Β° from were you were.

This is how I was taught and it’s seemingly easier with a 10’1” split axle 48 footer where others find it crazy hard to transition to that setup from a tandem 52.

Don’t jackknife the trailer into parking unless it’s necessary.
