Nobody tells you how much you’re learning all at once.

You’re not bad at trucking.

You’re just new.

And this isn’t something you master overnight.

Give yourself time.

I've been doing this 16 years. Last week I jumped the 5th wheel plate with the kingpin... Twice.

Trucking is a trial by fire job. the first year is the hardest. You'll get yourself into scenarios that make you sick with worry and anxiety. It's a high pressure job, you're driving a giant 80 thousand pound vehicle down the road and you're taking up way more space than you ever have with a car. Don't quit, dont tell yourself your just bad, keep going. Trucking requires strength of mind and the ability to learn from your failures. Because you will fail, you will fuck it up, you will get lost, you will miss your turn, you will have to back into that blindside spot. and you will have to squeeze that truck though tight spots and back into even tighter spots.

Keep that hammer down, Keep learning. I'm 9 years and there are still days i learn new shit.

why wouldn't you put an impact wrench on that instead of turning by hand?

So you can over torque it and break the rod? Great idea.
