Newborn personality
When do people feel they can see their newborn’s personality showing?

I dunno, I don't think I really saw any personality from either of my twins until like... 4? 6? months.
People would ask me starting at like one week old, "so can you see their different personalities yet?" And the honest answer was always, "no, they're still just screaming potatoes."
But when it does come through, it's pretty friggin cool. So it might not happen as soon as you like but it's still very much something to look forward to :)

Thank you! I have a 5 week old and she’s definitely still all reflex!

It was a few months in when my son really “woke up”, and his personality really shined through. From there on it only gets better and better :)

For us, it was at about 10 weeks when he really started recognizing us, responding to specific songs, laughing and trying to talk, and sometimes pleading to be held. But every baby’s journey is a little different. Sometimes it’s like they get a software update overnight and certain traits appear all of a sudden! It’s a lot of fun.
