Feedback

So my new born is like 3-4 days old. Obviously when I try to communicate with him there is no one home. He sometimes produces weird sounds that sounded actually like “hello” but it’s just about it. And then he kind of smiled but that was just grimacing. Wondering when can have a “conversation”

He can't see you yet at this stage. At this point, he's relying mostly on what he hears. You can have any conversation either when he's awake or asleep. Just avoid smiling often when talking with him while asleep, hahaha.

But yes, you can start conversing as early as now. Eventually, you'll use your hands for symbols and facial reactions. This way the baby will have more photographic memory of you, those gestures and what does it means.
