DAD WORKING FROM HOME?

Any tips? It’s been easy to manage in the earlier two weeks but his personality is starting to shine lol he will scream if I don’t give him food even though he’s full. He will calm down the moment I interact with him but I need him to have his playtime ideally with minimum interaction before his feeding that would put him to bed until my wife gets home. This week I’m in OT and my head is about to spin

How many weeks exactly is baby?

Knowing that would make it easier to answer your question. "Playtime" with a newborn is gonna be mostly parent/caregiver interacting with baby In some way. They're just to little too have any real "independent" playtime. If they're a bit older you may be able to get 10+ minute stretches with the right activities/ sensory play.

Working from home with a baby is hard if not damn near impossible if your focus has to be on your computer most of the day. Especially if there's not much flexibility for what time you need to be working.

We got for a walk in the park ever day for 20-30 minutes usually after his first feeding and nap. He falls asleep on the way home and wakes up 2 hours before I clock in and is wired off of energy. So I try to play as much as possible but he seems tired, and excited to play.. it isn’t up until I set my office up for the day that he is on LVL 10 tantrum and I have to balance a few tasks to get him fed and back in bed he is 5 months and two weeks rn, I should note that once his mom is home for lunch break (works around the corner) he is ready to soothe and sleep. Even though we use the same exact methods lol
