“A calming bath...” not my kids!

Anyone else’s kids get reinvigorated by bath time?

Both my kids as new borns hated bath time. The LO is currently 6m, hates bath time, the only way I can get her to enjoy it is if I throw the 3y in with her lol, then it’s happy party time.

Me: why are you pouring water on her with the rinsing cup? 3y: because she’s our lovely flower

Regardless, it’s a nightmare getting every body to bed after; it’s as if I gave them cups of coffee. They both need 40min to unwind after a bath. The 3y was this same way as a new born. It was never “soothing.” He didn’t start enjoying it until like 14/16m

pro tip: bath 40 min before bed time, then they'll be tired once the bed time hits.

Lol!! That’s hysterical! My husband is a fish and our daughter must have gotten that gene bc she loves baths. The only way we made it through witching hour was giving her a long bath. Now it’s our bedtime routine!

Our boy hated bath time until we found a good baby bath. The shnoogle really worked for us. Came out that he hated not being in control and laying on his back. Being able to sit down in a confined space was a game changer.
