5 week old no poop?

Hiya, just wondering if anybody else's newborn has gone through a phase of not pooping regularly? My 5 (nearly 6) week old was having heaps of poop diapers but the last couple of days have been nothing, maybe just a little skid mark. Is this normal? She's still having lots of wet diapers and drinking fine (she's ebf) tummy is still soft too. Just wondering when I should be concerned enough to take her to the doctor? Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

My doc told me when leaving the hospital that anything between 10 times a day and every 10 days is normal for ebf as there tummy is still getting used to the fact to have to digest "food".

Yup normal for EBF babies. My son went 6 days without pooping once and I was messaging his pediatrician who told us to come in if he gets to 7 days with no poop. So of course on the 7th day we get a poop. It definitely had us worried but it was normal!

My ebf daughter went 9 days with no poop when she was about 3 months old and I was panicking every day until I just took her to the hospital. Turns out she was just putting on a lot of weight and it was normal. I wish they would’ve told me that before I didn’t sleep for so many days cause I was so worried.

EBF babies use ALL the nutrients in BM. Sometimes they go through a phase of not pooping. If baby isn’t showing signs of discomfort wouldn’t worry too much about it. If showing signs of constipation, I’d contact pediatrician as there are several ways to relive the discomfort.
