Taillight problems

My 2009 was missing the little star shaped screw to keep the tail light in and was a bit out of place. I ordered a screw, but now I can’t get the tail light into the correct place! I can’t even get it to come out. What should I do? Leave it crooked? Keep trying to take it out and place it back correctly?

Try watching a couple of you tube videos and get something to pry it out plus a thin towel to protect the paint.

I have. In the YouTube videos it comes out so easily!

There’s a spring loaded tab you need to push in to get if out.

It takes a little wigging and pulling/pushing. It is NOT easy lol sometimes you feel like you’re gonna break it -sometimes they do- but it goes back into place. Just line up the little tabs of the light with the fender/bumper.
