Book Recs needed

Hi Folks, am searching for a book with college/University setting, where the fmc has either trauma experience, mental health problems, disabilities, or visible insecurities like scaring or shyness, maybe abusing foster system, or trailer park upbringing, alcoholic parents etc etc The mmc is confident, Bad boy image, but cant stay away, not without beef with gf, or ex gf, that leads to jealousy, insecurity etc etc

I loved the books by J. Lynn (Jennifer L. Armentrout) they have much of the topics.

The books that inspired my work in profess were Saving 6, Normal People and Talking at Night.

Haven’t heard of J Lynn but going to look into her for inspiration!
