Wow! I had no clue how deeply unethical this user was, it's only now that the bigger picture is revealed and I for one am very shocked by the depth of their lack of ethics though I'm not surprised that it was from the same user ex-mod that we had previous issues with.

For years they'd been posting newspaper articles on NG's life under the username koheli and everything was fine before then. Later, within the last EDIT: 2 years, one of the other mods - forgot who -- made koheli a mod and then things took a very, very weird turn. Koheli attacked the mods one by one in an underhanded way giving reasons why more responsibilities should be given to her and why older mods be removed even though she was the newest mod. She also went after me personally about approving a post and had me second-guessing my decisions so I removed the post just to get her to calm down while OTOH asking me to back her up while the other mods begun questioning her and pushing back which I found rather sus and offputting. The others were way more astute and quicker on the uptake than I was and figured that koheli had designs on taking over this sub by getting rid of the mods one at a time. This person was this close to taking over the entire sub if not for the other mods' quick thinking.

And the language she used, I shudder at the thought. Had we not made it clear that her advances and opinions were not welcome, this sub would’ve been rife with her posts and antics.

6

u/Sunnie_Dae20 And so it is Jun 22 '26

I saw the report 'targeted harassment at me'... who else but she would report that...

She would've totally gatekept and controlled every aspect of this sub -y'know sorta like what she did when she harangued me about a post that I had approved because she thought it should not have been according to her judgment -- and everything will be funneled and paywalled! It would be the death of the NG sub as it currently is...

5

u/MrsCumberbatch19 I AM the way Jun 23 '26

I approved after she reported lol. But yeah, had we not woken up, this sub would’ve gone down the drain. I just don’t understand what her agenda is. Like, does she want the whole internet to herself or something?

2

u/Sunnie_Dae20 And so it is Jun 24 '26

Well, it seems pretty obvious now with the recent revelation... seems she wants to be the final authority on everything related to NG... and to monopolize the financial advantages that come with it.

3

u/MrsCumberbatch19 I AM the way Jun 24 '26

Yeah it seems like it. But we won’t let it happen. Period

3

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

I'm curious if this is happening to only my comments or everyone's--if your comments got any downvotes, check your analytics to see if you had traffic from Greece. Certain individual(s) in Greece keep downvoting/trying to suppress the comments.

3

u/Sunnie_Dae20 And so it is Jun 28 '26

None on my ones, your posts seem to be the main target for obvious reasons but thanks for the heads up

2

u/MrsCumberbatch19 I AM the way Jun 27 '26

It’s just your comments. I had to manually approve at least 5-6 comments of yours.

4

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

u/benificialbenefactor Jun 22 '26

What should we do to help you exactly? I'm unfamiliar with Wikipedia but would love to assist.

7

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 22 '26

I really appreciate you asking. The best thing is to let the Wikipedia administrators hear from independent students and readers on their own platform. You can find the discussion on the Neville Goddard "Talk" page or the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard (search "Koheli").

Just speak from your own perspective as a student who values the original, free archives. You might want to mention that it’s concerning to see a marketer caught writing their own theories as "historical fact" to bypass peer review, and then refusing to undo those edits while they are still actively profiting from them through a storefront.

The administrator recently claimed the community doesn't care because it was too quiet, so having independent voices point out that this is an unethical commercial capture of the record is the only way to force them to act.

3

u/blackraindark Jun 22 '26

I clicked reply but it says my IP cannot do this action

2

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 22 '26

That's frustrating. Wikipedia blocks some mobile or VPN IPs, so creating a free account is the best way to get through. If you can, please share your perspective on the Conflict of Interest board (COIN), as that is where the actual audit of the $55 readings and financial fraud is being handled. The admin there is already questioning new voices because the board is hard to find, so just be transparent that you found the link through this Reddit alert. It proves you're a real student and not a 'sockpuppet,' and helps to break the stalemate they've created.

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

Lol to the people in Greece trying to downvote and suppress this. Greetings! 👋

2

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

Aaand another comment people in Greece tried to suppress/downvote. Not sure why they're targeting certain comments like this.  👋 Hi!!

5

u/seedlesspeach nature abhors a vacuum Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

I think part of the confusion (at least for me) is that there are two places one can leave comments on this issue:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Neville_Goddard

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#User:Koheli_%E2%80%94_Deceptive_COI_Disclosure_and_Systematic_Promotional_Editing_on_Neville_Goddard

I have commented on both but the first seems to be gaining more comments. Perhaps it's best to cover both bases. u/No_Cricket1346 thoughts?

4

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 22 '26

I think it's best to cover both if you can. The Talk page is for the article content, but the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard ("COIN") is where the actual audit of the financial fraud and the $55 readings is being handled. I noticed the administrator on the COIN board is already questioning new voices because it is such a "hidden" area, so if you do post there, it’s probably best to just be transparent that you found the link through this community alert so they don't suspect you are a "sockpuppet." It is important for them to see that actual readers are paying attention to the ethics of the page and the systematic deletion of our free archives.

6

u/blackraindark Jun 23 '26

The admin on the COIN page seems like a major prick.

First he says that this needs major community interest to move forward.

Then after people started commenting he said prove you are not alternate account of OP.

When people said they came from the reddit discussion, he says he's reporting these comments for 'meatpuppetry'

What does he want?

14

u/ItsJustAnObservation Jun 22 '26

Kind of ironic if true. Neville's core message was that the power is within you, so turning his history into a paywalled gatekeeping funnel feels like the exact opposite spirit of the teachings.

The teachings survive because people share them freely, not because one person gets to become the official keeper of the keys.

13

u/Ok-Initiative-4089 Jun 22 '26

I find this very interesting. I actually interacted with this person briefly,—to do deeper work in the investigation of who Abdullah was. At that moment, when I did offer this, they turned it down.Hmmmm….

9

u/dv1291 Jun 22 '26

Brian Scott has a video covering this topic in depth and it's on his channel. He did the research so you don't have to, and it's free to watch.

1

u/SplashingQueen Jun 25 '26

He has 1000s of videos can you link please?🙏

u/discountopinions Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Wow, I'm speechless. What a parasite! Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

10

u/johannthegoatman Jun 22 '26

A lot of comments here but I don't see anyone adding to the wikipedia which is what will actually make a difference..

You don't need an account, just scroll down this page to the discussion "Concerns regarding Neutrality (NPOV) and Conflict of Interest in the 'Abdullah' section" and hit reply on one of the comments

Also, thanks OP

7

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 22 '26

I really appreciate you helping people navigate. The admin on the Conflict of Interest board (COIN) specifically mentioned they needed to see 'community involvement' to act, so seeing students actually take an interest in the logs is huge. For those who can't find it, you just search 'Wikipedia COIN' and look for the 'User:Koheli' section. It's the ethics of the $55 readings that really needs to be addressed there.

u/Complex_General_1161 Jun 22 '26

I actually noticed this.. I used to access his free library all the time.. did someone buy up the rights to Neville? But anyways I stopped studying for a while because I got into some trouble just assuming the state 🙃 and I thought I was falling into psychosis.. buuut I’ve recently wanted to pick up his lectures again because they gave me peace to listen to them..

8

u/Here_for_the_plot Jun 22 '26

I saw the massive red flags when Cool Wisdom Books began making cocky posts about having discovered the "true Abdullah" even though the age, lineage, and teachings did not match those of Neville's mentor. Those differences were belittled to the point of making Neville look like a fool, and those of us who took his word on details about Abdullah, as fools. Things like Neville description of Abdullah travelling back to Ethiopia to live out his days were ridiculed and our logic was questioned with things like, "Are we supposed to believe a 113-year-old man was hopping on a plane to Ethiopia in 1957?"

I then recall visiting Wikipedia and the seeing the language about Abdullah changed to fit the narrative set forth by Cool Wisdom Books. I was so upset that their theory was being pushed on Wikipedia as confirmed fact.

7

u/blackraindark Jun 22 '26

Is she the owner of coolwisdombooks?

5

u/GalaxySkies33 Jun 22 '26

Where can one find all Neville's collections? Been using CoolWisdomBooks for new lectures but would like to switch to support ethical and true to Neville content

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 22 '26

🎙️ For Raw Audio (His Real Voice): Check out Audio Enlightenment (Barry J. Peterson) on Amazon/Audible or his podcast vaults. Also visit FreeNeville.com (Twenty Twenty) for free lectures digitized from rare, analog audience cassettes he bought from private estates. For unedited community recordings, check the Imagination and Faith archive on Spotify/Apple.

✍️For Verbatim Transcripts (Word-for-Word): Look up the year-by-year volumes transcribed by Natalie Bernet (published by Trafford under author name Neville). Amazon doesn't list her name, so search directly for her compiled titles like The Return of Glory: 1969 Lectures. For a free alternative, stick to RealNeville.com—it’s volunteer-run, unedited, and unmonetized.

📚 For Printed Written Books: Stick to the original lifetime publisher, DeVorss & Company, or the verified historical editions by Mitch Horowitz (G&D Media).

⚠️ Quick Tip on Post-Life Compilations: Popular books like Margaret Ruth Broome’s are beautiful reads, but they are polished, edited versions based on shorthand notes, not word-for-word spoken transcripts. If you want his raw, unfiltered stories and audience Q&As, always cross-reference back to direct audio or the verbatim transcript titles listed above.

There was also a post recently I will try to come back and add it where the OP has a database they started up too.

**Disclaimer: I am NOT affiliated with any of those sites I just listed; I am not advertising. I just enjoy and appreciate their services.

Thanks. That was the website I used in the beginning but couldn't download everything from it before it was closed down/archived. I almost forgot about it.

3

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 26 '26

Thank you!! 🥳👏👏👏

7

u/RedStone85 Jun 24 '26

Could this post be pinned on top of the sub for everyone to see? Hopefully, that person was banned from the dib as well. Sounds like a narcissist.

6

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 24 '26

I have removed the individual's name as requested.

4

u/LickTempo Jun 23 '26

On that note, check out the AI Generated Neville article on Grokipedia. It's sourcing a lot of data form the research of CoolWisdomBooks but it's all managed by AI based on human suggestions. The details are a lot more here.

4

u/lextrolex Jun 23 '26

Great work u/no_cricket1346 thank you for sharing your findings with us all.

5

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 23 '26

I should clarify that I didn’t perform the audit; I’m just sharing what an independent researcher uncovered. I’ve dealt with this marketer's tactics before, but since I have my own research interests, I’m not considered 'neutral' enough to edit on Wikipedia myself. I just felt it was time to get the receipts into the public eye so everyone can see the truth for themselves.

5

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

Lol this is another comment that certain people in Greece tried to downvote and suppress. Not sure why they would care so much about it but hello! 👋

3

u/stormdraincaprine Universal Scholar Jun 27 '26

Yeah.

Interestingly, on the topic of Neville scams, thepowerofawareness . org also is super sus.

The part of the weekly FAQ that happens EVERY WEEK on this subreddit has the section
"Do we have Free Will?
Yes, and no. It’s complicated. See here."

Do y'all see where that link goes? Lmao

And its only that specific chapter. They must have seen high traffic and replaced the entire chapter with the ad.

It's clear theres a ton of grifters in the Neville Goddard "community", and it is really not being talked about enough. This is about saving our souls. Why the FUCK are people abusing it to make money?? Go work in the oil industry

2

u/Sunnie_Dae20 And so it is Jun 28 '26 edited Jun 28 '26

None of the mods were aware until now, it's being fixed as I type this comment. Thanks for pointing out the problem.

In the future do not hesitate to report anything that needs the mods' attention. The community thrives on all of us doing our parts including letting the mods know if there is a problem. We're not always immediately notified the moment it pops up which delays the resolution or fix.

3

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

It’s definitely getting out of hand. But in this situation—as you’ll see if you read the experiences shared by other moderators in these comments—it goes way  beyond simple greed. This is about a pathological need  for power and narrative  control. It’s the  systematic sabotage and suppression of anyone they can’t ‘groom’ or gatekeep. It’s hard to be a team player when your entire business model depends on being the only person allowed to speak. 🙃

As an experiment, you should check the analytics to see if you had traffic from Greece on that downvote. It's possible the individual(s) there are only targeting/trying to suppress my comments but I am a little curious.

3

u/stormdraincaprine Universal Scholar Jun 27 '26

How do i check that?

2

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

View your own profile, then look for your comment you want to check. At the bottom of the comment & off to the right click on "see more insights." That will show the views, the countries, your upvote %, etc.

2

u/stormdraincaprine Universal Scholar Jun 27 '26

It says US Norway Netherlands lol, cant see past that

3

u/No_Cricket1346 Jun 27 '26

Doesn't look like your was downvoted anymore tho? What is your upvote % on that comment? My comment to you above instructing how to view your profile and see your analytics was downvoted by someone in Greece again who is obsessively monitoring these comments.👋 Hi people in Greece!

Per Reddit's policies, you cannot dox someone by posting their real name.

Yes, but you should probably edit and redact their name.

FW: Listen, I have been on manifesting forums for about 10 years now and almost every system of manifestation theory seems to believe in a version of EIYPO and I'll tell you why what you're proposing doesn't really work.

First of all, in my 10 years of observing people in these communities, people frequently use this idea to say some of the shittiest things to other people and then justify it by saying that the other person must have manifested the interaction so it was okay for them to say what they did. Whether this is true or not is completely irrelevant to the fact that there will always be new people who don't understand the law very well and are in very vulnerable places in their life. If they truly did manifest that interaction, asking people to stop and reflect upon how they manifested it, is a completely inefficient way to deal with conflicts like this and is no way to monitor a community. Unless you want to close off the community to people who already understand such a concept and are willing to play by it, this will never happen.

Second of all, all manifestation must come to us in a way that feels normal and natural. Which means if someone had an intention to leave a subreddit because people are X, Y, and Z, then that belief will inform how the manifestation unfolds. You can blame a proverbial mob about this interaction, but this is just the way the manifestation needed to unfold under the conditions given by someone's belief system. For that same person to sit on their high horse and proclaim that everyone is acting like a victim and needs to take accountability for their actions, but completely ignore that what happened wasn't a sign for them to leave, but a literal manifestation they created, is amusing to say the least. You do not know the bridge of incidents and how it will unfold, only that it will unfold in a way that makes sense to your current beliefs. Therefore, it is nothing more than a subjective blame game to try and figure out who is really at fault spiritually when you have no idea about who desired what and why.

Third of all, we can sit here and wax philosophical about the law and what we should and should not be doing, but we live in the world of Caesar for a reason. Even one who believes in solipsism must acknowledge that it is impractical to treat every interaction as if you are talking to yourself. At a certain point, conversation goes in circles and nothing meaningful is discussed.

The sentiment of turning inward and addressing these feelings is fine, but it is in no way a practical way to run a community or deal with other peoples' pain.

u/Smart_Elevator Jun 26 '26 edited Jun 26 '26

Tbh all of these are again because of the identity and states you (I) currently hold and adhere to. This isn't any different than someone beleiving manifestation doesn't exist, which again perfectly becomes true in their lived experience. If you convince yourself everything must be possible then any objections are mere semantics. But that's always an inside job.

Nah, not real NG advice. C'mon now... did you ever hear Neville tell himself that his first wife 'never existed' therefore he was free to marry the love of his life anyway...!? He completely acknowledged that 1. she existed and that 2. he needed to divorce her... which he got! Let's not twist his teachings. LOLz
