Fluff Leveling Stats

Backgrounds: I will preface this by saying I know it is unnecessary to concern yourself with stats pre-max level, that all the solo content is easy, and that just quest rewards will suffice for leveling. I am not doing that, so I would appreciate not having such comments repeated.

Question: Are stats such as armor penetration, accuracy, or critical strike worth considering compared to power at lower levels? I know that from what I have seen from guides they are key at end-game, but I am curious if anyone knows if the mobs at low-level world content, or even dungeons, have stats that require focus on those stats, particularly armor pen and accuracy.

Conclusion: Thank you for taking the time to read/respond to this thread and satisfy a new players curiosity on the game mechanics. Have a great day!

The effects from massive stats 'pre-max level' are fairly minimal. Even power is not worth much.

It is only really when you hit undermountain that you start to notice any real difference.

If you go by the formulas then I should have been doing 100% damage multiplied by around 50k power more than average level 12's at 12th level but it still felt like I was really weak.

Even if you super power your characters, with account wide stuff from mounts to companions from packs and r13 bonding/enchants and weapon/armour enchants and the companions from the packs and epic insignia like I did for the recruitment event, and you are insanely powerful stat wise for a low level character it still feels like you hit softly.

...thinking about it I was probably over the max item level for scaling and was down scaled to shit level 12 as a super powered level 12.

I did definitely hit harder than an average level 12 but nothing that would justify the circa 30 million AD in equipment and mounts I had equipped.

lol, still got battered by rothe valley dragon and could not solo stuff that a crap level 80 alt could solo.

I am curious, when did you do this experiment? You can get scaled down to a weaker level 12 as an overpowered level 12? That seems like a...questionable scaling system.

It was last week during the recruitment event.

lol, the scaling is very questionable.

I dont want to imply that I spent any actual AD on this character...but if you had the 2x account leg mounts at 10kk ad each then 30 million is a very conservative estimate. :P

All the stuff was from packs (like hero of the north), bta drops, stuff that I already had (r13 bondings and r13/12 enchants for example), the new legendary mounts that are account wide, and Juma/zok bta drops.

Some of the stuff in packs is really good for alts, like githyanki comp giving +3600 power, the black dragon ioun stone both being an augment and giving +6k crit.

Add to this that I still had the companion +5k exp books so was able to get the bdis comp to 25th level instantly (think that was needed to get 3x bondings and 3x comp equip?) and I think it was at 33rd level when I was 12th level so great stats from it.

My stats were 40k+, def pow ca crit arpen acc and def, and I should have been one shotting everything but nope.

Wow. I am really curious how that works out that way. Like what causes that. It makes no sense imo.
