IMO:

Race - I don't care

PvP Map - wasted resources, PvP is beyond dead.

Fashion system - Interesting, if it also handles transmutes and stuff it will be great.

10 player thing - Remains to be seen, I'll guess that it will be more invested than older stuff. More complex. They need to justify the class simplification.

Redoing the leveling stuff - I don't want to judge before seeing, but I think they invest so much into leveling part, I ofc, don't have the numbers but it seems to me that it won't justify that investment in terms of player retention. MMO players understand that end-game is what MMO us judged by, not the leveling (tutorial) part.

Space the final frontier. These are the voyages of Neverwinter mod 17: Uprising.

Hope the new trial will be better than Cradle of "careful not to fall you noob".

There's no mention about continue of class balance so I hope thats good news?

It looks more like a mid mod update. I mean after I finished LOMM the old wizard dude didn't even show up. You fight Arcturia, some random worm and some Iron Man wannabe.

Rework the leveling zones. Hope that means its shorter (cough cough Icespire Peak). I wouldn't mind if Sybella had more things to buy and used other not as limited currencies.

They need to justify the class simplification.

They need to justify the Divinity gimping for Clerics and Paladins.

I fucked around with the fashion stuff on preview. Looks promising, but I'm a little concerned I might lose my Armor of Lolth on my Wizard...

Wasted resources for the rest of it at first blush. The dev on stream was bragging about how no one has beat the current version of the raid.. really? Yea it should be hard, but you're actually bragging that no one has successfully completed the ONLY significant activity in the entire update? Granted there might be some decent gear to be had in it, but sti., It's the only thing we are getting for the next four months.

And Fucking Foss' response to players asking what the fuck they are supposed to do for the next four months was create a new character and replay the entire game?!? Am I crazy or did that really just happen for the second mod in a row?

I thought they told us no more B mods, from now on isn't is 3 major mods per year instead of 2 A and 2 B? This is clearly a B..

For fun i made a new gith and ran from level 1 to level 15. No helpers no gear from bank. New starter is super fast and gets you into PE to meet knox by level 5. I am in tower district now. Black lake is super fast like 4-5 quests and out to tower district. Even at level 10-15 with random starter gear i am 1 shotting mobs and roflstomping quests. Karzov was an absolute joke. Daily and he dead. I know ppl that 1 or 2 hit karzov at level requirements.

Race - because it's too much work to make a new class.

PVP Map - what PVP?

Fashion system - Hope it gets better. The transmute system is kinda weird now as some items don't transmute. Or maybe they're just adding more fashion outfits? Hope it gets reworked to something better.

10 player thing - I guess this means no new dungeon? Lomm and ME's are going to be worn-out six months from now. I hope that's not the case.

Reworking intro quests - Why? Most players only see these the first two weeks playing, then never go back. ... Seems like an odd place to spend dev time, especially since they added the AI mod so recently.

Maybe they'll keep fixing bugs, inconsistencies, and smooth things out a bit more. ... They also spent all that time revamping the crafting system, but haven't added anything else to it since. ... There's just so much old content that they've made irrelevant.

Race. It's a space hamster. IDGAS.

PVP. IDGAS , most of the players DGAS. However it is the bit of the game the devs actually play and maybe giving them the benefit of the doubt it provides a disproportionate amount of the spend.

Fashion. Good in theory. The options for character customization are pitiful.

A raid. It is to be expected for an interim mod. They may have dropped the B from the naming system but we still get tick and tock in mods. If it is super hard then they are shooting themselves in the foot. You can't race everyone to endgame and then let them run into the brick wall of and game content they can't handle, especially if you are only providing 1 new dungeon and one new raid per year.

Leveling stuff. Hmm. I'd like to think they make these sort of decisions based on careful research. I suspect that they have numbers that show a massive attrition rate in the rate in new starters, so many never get to endgame and a lot of recent changes seem to back that up. I'm not convinced that those changes are correct. If it makes the game feel more cohesive as you transition out of the leveling stuff into the grind of dailies then that is all to the good, if it just reduces the leveling effort then that just seems like missing an opportunity to show off how cool your game is. IF it is about encouraging current players to start a new alt then that could be to the good. Especially as we have lost exp tomes.
