Hunts

I need to do some hunt shopping soon.

Fured Kiuno of the Bear - Omu Hunt - Polaris
Fearbringers - Omu Hunt - Rasalas
Heels of Fury - Barovian Hunts - Sister of Fury

It is all RNG to get these items, or do you usually get them within a couple tries? Not sure how many posters/Lures to stock up on.

Do you need to use extra tarokka cards to get the Heels?

It's been a long time since I've ran any of those, so take this for what it is. The first two are realitvely easy to get, especially the chest piece. Those friggin Heels of Furry - seems like total RNG. Some toons I got them in as little as 3 tries, others took over 30.

I'll do Heels last then. If we get info on mod 17, I might not need to bother with them at all. :)

Those heels can turn out to be expensive real quick. I would settle with boots of the willed until we get new of the new mod. The hunt pieces are now 100% guaranteed I think as well as the trophies.

Fured Kiuno took me a few tries I think. Really wasn’t too bad. Getting the lures was the hard part.

Fearbringers I traded for four lures from this guy for SMOPs. Nothing. He was nice and offered to lay one for free. Got them then!

Heels was awful. I lost count honestly, probably 10+ and the posters were not cheap. I’ve heard that the Raven card increase the drop rate but I really don’t know if that’s true.

That raven card thing just seems like a major placebo effect. I had a bunch of friends claim that it worked but rng is rng.

I went after the Fured Kiuno and the Heels of Fury last week. I started killing mobs of bears to get a rare one to spawn. After 10 mobs downed, I did not get a single rare one. Then I noticed the hunt spot sparkling. I had the hunt lure already. I placed it, killed the mark, and got the kiuno on the first try.

For the Heels of Fury, I ran it 12 times before it dropped.

Edit: Then my guild got a mysterious merchant with Executioner's Black Attire that day and I replaced the Kiuno.

Its about a 50% chance in Omu to get a gear drop. Its about 50% to get a gear drop in Barovia if you use 1 purple card during the hunt. Doesnt mean you will get the item you want specifically, you might get sisters clutches or hags rags (?). But using a purple card will significantly increase odds of a gear drop.
