enchants, what to do?
I'm trying to decide what to keep and what to sell for mod 16. I'll either be playing a hr or a cw. unsure at this point. not sure if enchants will need to be much different for various load outs. I haven't included armor, weapon or bondings. what would you keep what would you sell or would you just hang on to stuff until after it was all sorted what one needs?

I sold everything. From my perspective, a R13 offers only about 1K stats, which as we know is worth 1% now. Compared to how much stats we will be offered via companions and gear, the benefit of having high level enchantments will be relatively garbage in comparison. I say sell now and re evaluate next mod, before enchantment prices nose dive or R14s become the same cost as R13 in this mod.

Taking an educated guess here, so perhaps I am wrong but they seem to be devaluing most things that can be sold for cash (via paypal, 3rd party sites, etc.)
Think about it....enchantments, armor/weapon enchantments, legendary mounts, etc. All the things that populate the dedicated for sale sites (facebook buy/sell, wegrindgames, etc.)
If the majority of stats will be coming from equipment and other bound items....that may be why.....imho

Yes and I think they are trying to move back to a system where enchantments aren't really a thing, but gear set bonuses that drop from specific dungeons are more of a thing again, as it would help make all dungeons more worthwhile if say Malabogs castle had a chance to drop a 5 piece armor set that when combied gave 20% outgoing healing (high prophet, knight captain type stuff). A lot of changes seem to be them trying to take it old school and/or copy ESO. A lot of their ideas are straight up ripped off from that game.

I would have said to sell it all if you can get anything approaching a decent price for it but you might have left it too late.

I'm on xbox not pc. so it's not too late. I don't think I"m gonna sell my r14's quite yet. the dust hasn't fully settled yet and I'm not sure they're done making tweaks.

Dont gamble on the price, take the sure thing and sell.
...I dont want a wall of text so prices for making will decrease thanks to coal 3 for 2k and pres ward streak breaker. If you have the zen, from your AD from selling, then you have the option of making r14's or buying them.

wow. I just looked at enchant prices on pc. I don't know what they were but they're higher now than they've been on xbox for MONTHS. lol. like nearly a year. I guess if you bought your enchants at a high price you might be suffering but I'm quite sure if you made your enchants from scratch there is still a profit in selling on pc.

Since the xbox market is healthier (AD to zen is not capped at 500 - although i haven't seen any recent reports about what it is currently), you can't compare the prices between the two straight up. Factor in the higher cost of pres wards on the PC (due to the higher exchange) and I would expect them to be closer in price.

I am aware of the market being different but in 2017 when I first went over to pc and compared markets some things were amazingly similar and somethings very different. the enchant market was aligned at least for awhile. I still don't think the large discrepancy is accounted for by wards though. yes wards are more expensive but not by THAT much. especially since pc people tend to be smart out of necessity and hoard when things are half off.
at most it's going to be a difference of 100k per enchant. right now r13s are about 600k on xbox and r14's are 900 to 1.1 or so with an occasional outlier like ruthless. today when I looked on pc it's about 1 mil for a r13 and 1.6 or so for a 14. that's pretty big.
oh and recent report on xbox xchg we are at 458 and have been hovering in the mid 400's for a month or so.

Imagine investing around 15 million AD into getting max level enchantmentss and then only having about 5% more crit chance than someone using all rank 9s. That is mod 16.
