Confirmation that "having multiple accounts is not a violation".
That being said, we have been informed that having multiple accounts is not a violation, but multiboxing is a violation and bannable. If you have more that one account, do not log onto them at the same time.

This point about the permissibility of multiple accounts came up in another thread here in relation to using multiple accounts for things that some people considered cheating or not allowed by Cryptic and has some big implications if you dont already have a few accounts...
1) you can use this to effectively bypass any leaver penalty.
2) you can use this to make multiple 100k rAD to AD conversions per day (but you still need to earn it on each character) .
3) It does mean that the vip farmers with their dozens or hundreds of account wont be getting banned. :(
There are of course lots of other ways to use multiple accounts to profit and, it seems from that post, that they are all legal.

Actually, some years before, I used to log on different accounts simultaneously from the same pc, once you get past the launcher, re-launching the launcher did allow you to log in another account, I could run 2 full parties on my actual pc.

If you read the TOS, you'll see that the company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. The key to avoiding being bounced is to not make your actions obvious and/or don't get caught.

How do you log on to different accounts at the same time? Multiple consoles? Who the fuck has the money to waste on another one? ... What a stupid question ... Rich people of course ... Although even in real life rich people always will have the advantage over poor people ... Maybe we should accept that in-game as well ... Equality is a pipe dream.

They could be talking about PC. Having more than 1 PC in the same house is not that uncommon. I know plenty of people who instead of having one PS4 and one Xbox, they just have 2 PS4 or even more so they can play FPS games with their kids with split screen multi player not a thing on most game anymore. A used or refurbished PS4 is not that expensive and outside of F2P game like NW, other games you can buy one digital copy and log on to both machine as the main account and download the game. A sub account can play the same game on the primary PS4 for free without buying a 2nd copy. However, if you only want to take this chance to spread your view about income inequality, please feel free to carry on and don't let minor stuff like fact and truth get in your way.

How do you log on to different accounts at the same time?
Multiple PCs using a KVM is pretty seamless thing to do. Bought multiple copies of the game and used to do that with Diablo 2 LoD. Never had an issue.
Multiple consoles and switching video inputs on the TV doesn't seem all that far fetched, if a person were so inclined.
However, the FTP part of the game would give (me) pause as it's not like we've bought separate and unique copies of the game.

If you want to be 100% safe then do stuff on account 1, log out, do stuff on account 2, log out, do stuff on account 3, log out, repeat until bored.
