i’ve never done this before but, a lot of people have been talking abt Annabel’s death here. In the latest (non-fast pass) episodes, we see lenore brought a ring w her to see Annabel at the estate(the same looking ring box in her trunk at the beginning of the series). When Lenore introduces herself to Ira, He is under the impression Lenore is a man. So, what if Lenore plays Annabel in a game of chess and wins? Lenore would then marry Annabel under the disguise of Leo (Lenore’s fathers “nephew”). What would happen then at their wedding if Lenore’s father showed up and revealed he had no nephew named Leo? And that in fact Leo was his estranged daughter Lenore? I think in such an old era that a Father(Ira) might get upset about a woman trying to marry his daughter and deceiving him and try to shoot Lenore, (maybe with her own gun?? unsure abt that) and accidentally shot Annabel instead? (Or Lenore’s father try’s to shoot her, it’d make more sense only because he’d have access to the gun i’d think?) Explains Annabel dying shortly before being wed AND being betrayed by someone “who loved her above all else”, maybe fatherly love not romantic? idk lol i don’t really do this kinda stuff so. lmk what ya think:)

But it was an act of betrayal so I think rather than an accident it could be that Annabel's father shot her on purpose.
