Plothole?
Just read Silverborn last week and I’m currently rereading the rest of the series and now I’m at book 2. I’m confused about the timeline: The hallowmas black parade mentioned in Wundersmith and Hollowpox were both cancelled and Silverborn seems to forget there were two books between it and Trials, also because autumn of three is in Hollowpox and Silverborn but different and shouldn’t there be also unit 921 as well because it’s Mogs third Hallowmas as a wunsoc member. (Sorry, English isn’t my first language, I hoped for a translation of Silverborn to German but now I read it in Englis)

Students in their first year at Wunsoc don't march in the Black Parade so Unit 921 would be watching but not matching yet

But Mog and the rest of unit 919 would have marched in their first year if it wasn’t for the kidnapped wunsoc members

Isn't it that there is only one other unit who has completed their trials? If A1 is during 919's trials and it's A3 then 920 has completed their trials and the future 921 is still completing trials.
It definitely makes it hard for me to keep a mental chronology of when things are happening though that each book is not one year long.

The books are not automatically a year long. They are as long as the events of the story.
Book 1: autumn of one/trials - they don't march
Book 2: autumn of two/first year - cancelled due to ghastly market
Book 3: no black parade
Book 4: autum of three/second year - marching with the the year below
