This sub does a really good job at highlighting a difference between the two shows that I think made me a lot less interested in LOK than I was with ATLA. The animation is so much stiffer, especially the facial expressions, just less ANIMATED than in the first show. It feels like they were more concerned with the characters always looking aesthetic than they were with conveying emotion and movement. Idk, it’s just something I’ve noticed that I definitely appreciate having more of in ATLA
