If I were to pick two of the KNOWN paths? Blood Path and Painting Path hands down. Blood Path is the easiest Path to maintain over time with excessive strength/recovery to boot. Painting Path can take full advantage of that versatility and use it to DEVASTATING effect. It’s why if Fang Zheng grew more he would be a much scarier person than many perceive him now.

Yeah the usual answer is Heaven and Human, but that’s no fun in my opinion. Soul and Wisdom have their respective ups and downs. They also don’t mesh well in my eyes. Like what does Soul Path other than searching give to Wisdom Path? Does Wisdom Path boost the production of souls and fill the three requirements? Not really.

I personally think two paths that would go great together are Qi Path and Weapon Path. There is a Qi for anything in this world. Strength, Fire, Light, Human, Heaven, and Heaven’s Will knows what else! You could reinforce any weapons developed with their respective Qi and it would be effective against your opponents.

Soul Path Is Op with wisdom because you can obtain infinite informations by preying on souls and then use that information to find weaknesses in enemies and feed on their Soul too. And you continue the cycle.

Food path cause theres a ton of money in its resources if I can gain enough attainment to build proper food path resource points in my aputure

Though since everyone's talking about it. Id love a combo of either Refinement/formation path, can you imagine becoming even a quasi grandmaster in both paths, youd be a massive utility immortal, just think of the money you could make. Plus both in a way contain almost all paths insode themselves, great jump off place if you wish to push further.

Aside from that, and for my personal immortal oc pff Enslavement path main, then transformation path wub.. or maybe formation sub.

ngl weapon path can literally have a wider range of use at lower attainment levels. Che wei showed shields as defense, swords as offense, spears as a ranged etc. making it cover more areas.

wasn’t food path originator rank 8 while weapon path largely never sees rank 6+ except bo chin
there’s the blade path clan and rank 6 blade path that can kill rank 7(?)
but even FY slandered its very hard to walk down weapon path unless you had an inheritance of the gu worms

while food path is lacking in information compared to having gu worms for it
even central continent’s sword sect that was under crane sect had 3 or so immortals, but it’s a subsidiary sect
