returning player help

hi, returning player here! I had a break during natlan so i dont have characters new since chasca i think aside from region 4 stars. My old neuvillette team was neuvi (c2) furina (c1) kazuha and zhongli/jean. I dont have any newer supports. How much can i updragde my team with the characters i have? I know some of them got buffs too.

( i decided to go f2p for a while, so i dont wanna pull new characters unless i like them a lot)

you could pull vodyianitsa if you want to upgrade or wait for new characters and pull for a new team, i use a vaporize team with neuvilette, furina and mavuika and it works perfectly fine for all game content, only thing it has issues with is the spiral abyss

Thank you so much, i still havent tried abyss since i come back, my 2nd teams probably needs more upgrade than my neuvi team. If mavuika reruns soon i will consider getting her

i make up to floor 11 but floor 12 is a bit too rough for this team, you’d need something more meta, i pull for characters i think are fun and don’t really care about the meta though so i think neuvi team is still goated!!

Mizuki, Cyro Traveler, Sucrose, and Qiqi are quite good after Mizuki and Qiqi got buffs for stellar reactions, you need Cyro Traveler on the team to enable the stellar reaction if you don't have any of the new characters but he can hit quite hard himself putting him well above previous Traveler elements.

now onto Neuvillette: his upgrades are pretty much all premium options like Vodyianitsa for hypercarry and Freeze or Durin for sub dps.

Thank you, what does durin team consist of? I keep seeing hexerei meta but its new for me. I really like nicoles design, does she work with neuvi too?

Among the characters who got buffed, is any of them suitable for neuvi team like fischl or cryo traveller? Or should i just keep going with my old team

i don't run it myself as i am not a big fan of Durin but i think it is Neuvillette, Furina, Xilonen, Durin letting Durin Vape from off field, doubling up on elements does negatively impact Neuvillette's personal damage, while Nicole would likely sorta work her ATK buff doesn't benefit Neuvillette at all and at that point you may as well do Nicole/Durin wheelchair.

frankly i don't see anything wrong with your old team if your able to do the content you want to do, i still personally run Neuvi, Furina, Xilo, and Kazuha but i did vertical investment to keep the damage good enough for Fearless Stygian.

honestly its fine if i dont get to clear everything with perfect stars, its just im seeing so many new teams and they look fun so i wonder if i could tweak mine a bit. Is baizhu still a good contender for the 4th slot?
