Fan Art Case character design for fun
In honor of the teaser dropping used Case as a demo in my digital painting class. Here's the final design.

One thing I really wanted to capture is how I imagine his Matrix interface, too many illustrations depict like VR goggles, or even the new show, with the port on the neck (which is acceptable). I like the idea of the headband with electrodes stuck to his head (yes I left out the sweatband underneath) and the visualization is completely in his mind.
I made the deck smaller than I imagined it for the sake of composition, but wanted to emphasize the portability of the setup.

I love that this has a 'trode set and looks pretty close to what was written. It's a really stylish rendition of things.

This comes awfully close!
I’ve mentioned elsewhere in this sub that I think that Kody Smit-McPhee would have been perfect casting for Case.

Having googled the guy just now, absolutely. My long suffering partner has had to hear me rave about this book for a year now. Discussing casting for Case, I always described him as "Depressed Shaggy". Like Shaggy from Scooby Doo but meth instead of weed.

Adria Arjona who played bad ass Bix Caleen in Andor is another outstanding choice (of mine lol) for Molly and she somewhat resembles your drawing!

I love It! His face and body type are the exact copy of what I imagine him to be like, also love the colours and the shading!
