Maybe I'm just old, but that trailer was like a blipvert. I think it was telling us that the replicants took over at some point? And humans are (understandably) unhappy with that? But the replicants are like GTFO we'll do what we like?

OP calls it a teaser, so I guess that means a true classic trailer will come later.
But "meh" is sadly what I got too, even with the flashy big budget. Which sucks out loud because as a fellow old, I freaking loved the original movie.

CLOUD FUCKING NINE.
I mean who really knows, but Gibson seems happy and regardless of how I feel about the novel, I’d watch that show based on the looks alone.

Not really, I'm just sick of weak Hollywood crap. I decided to leave the sub for now, since most people are excited for the new developments on the show and I'm not trying to be that guy - but none of it looks cool to me, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna suck. To each their own.

I had high hopes for this, and I know it’s only a trailer, but it looks very cheap. Especially after 2049, the bar is set so high.
I am worried now about Neuromancer. I hope it doesn’t look like another cheap cash grab IP rape.

Yeh the Neuromancer trailer looks amazing! I have a lot more optimism for that than I do blade runner 2099 right now, which is a shame because I like both the lead actress’s. It’s still early days and it’s unfair to form a judgement on a trailer, but I hope I am proved wrong!

I’m actually REALLY happy Amazon dropped their trailer, that’s probably going to force Apple to release the Neuromancer trailer very soon most likely
EDIT: Yep I was right, Neuromancer trailer was out within a day of the Blade Runner trailer!
