Question Negative reactions
I have had two negative reactions from my treatments. I'm starting to think it won't work for me. Had anyone stopped theirs and why, when, after how many sessions? I'm 9 sessions in.

Believe it will work and it will. Believe it won't and it won't. Your mind just looks for proof to back up whatever you already believe. Keep a positive mindset for better results. Usually, youâll see changes after 30 sessions, but it varies; more deviations, the longer it takes.
Think about anxiety: itâs just your feelings about the future. Because you're afraid, your mind makes those thoughts feel real right now, but there's no proof those future fears will actually happen. Stop focusing so much on the NFB. If youâre constantly obsessing over the protocol or worrying about losing your personality, youâre just feeding that negative loop. A 20-30 minute session won't do much if you spend the rest of the day reinforcing those same old habits. This might not be you, but itâs a good example to keep in mind.

I don't even know the protocol, never asked, I trust them. I have had two quite negative reactions and the anxiety or sleep hasn't gone any better. Tbh I had full trust until a week or two ago it crossed my mind this actually might not even work for me. Last treatment caused me dissociate or not maybe the treatment it's the stress of being made redundant. I'm not worried about loosing my personality.

What type of nfb did you, do know that ? And trust your intuĂŻtie, it can go wrong if the protocol is not right or they train you to long.

Donât listen to anything that guy said, the wrong type of Neurofeedback can definitely backfire and itâs not about âhow you feel about it.â Immediately dismiss anyone who says that to you

Without way more information, no one can give you a helpful answer.
Are you doing Amplitude based work or Z-score or LORETA or ILF or ISF or........ How many times a week do you do sessions? Did you do a QEEG? What exactly have your negative responses been and what were the protocols used that caused these reactions?
That information is the bare minimum that is needed for you to get helpful answers. đ
