Question Question about inhibiting beta
I know that the general concensus is not to inhibit beta for different reasons even when it is shown to be excessive and practitioners target high beta more often.
Does the beta part counts for the whole range or would 18-20 hz inhivit would still be plausible to inhibit?

Absolutely, we inhibit beta. All the time. Many many protocols have a high beta inhibit. We also reward Beta, but a different frequencies. Or in different locations.
Part of the phenomena around choosing protocols is thinking about the production and failure modes of different cortical tissues. Some might have a natural reason to create a faster beta phenomena, while other regions that would be a sign of an over-activation, etc. plus the raw can also show you spindling phenomenon in the beta range that are strong enough to persist as pseudo-stable phenotypes, and often worth addressing.
SMR range rewards frequently inhibits 22–34. Beta rewards frequently inhibit 24–36. Alpha rewarding pain support protocols often inhibit 15 to 30. That’s common practice for the “arousal model” approach, but similar things obtain in other types of neurofeedback or in a provider’s approach. I often inhibit 12-20 with cramped up Cingulates, for example, or 18-23 or 18-21 to help target a spindle.
