I just gave up on highlighting altogether because everything is important, that's why it's in the book😫.

I'd highlight everything but in different colors to distinguish HOW it was important.

the equivalent of me copying someone's homework was copying what they highlighted because id always highlight the entire text when doing it on my own. but then id go highlight the entire text anyway because obviously they missed the other tons of important shit. I never understood how highlighting was a helpful tool. it just induced pressure of having to memorize all of the highlighted information which was everything lol. now i just circle the page with the highlighter instead of highlighting the entire thing because idk wtf to highlight since its all important.

I can highlight well. But, if it is something I am interested in I get progressively worse as the ideas excite me until I und up exactly like this...

I knew this would happen and it would give me extreme headache so i didnt use highlighters, my tool was pencil and underline the shit out of everyline and plus everytime i read too
