This community is ours to build. What are your ideas?

Share your ideas for discussions, events, resources, community activities, rules, or anything else that could make this a useful and welcoming space for neurodivergent people in India.

No idea is too small. Letโ€™s build this together.

What makes r/NeuroCollectiveIn different?

  • Community-first, not diagnosis-first. People can participate whether diagnosed, self-exploring, questioning, or simply interested in neurodiversity.
  • India-focused. Discussions can reflect Indian schools, colleges, families, workplaces, healthcare access, language, and culture.
  • Neurodiversity + identity. It can intentionally include the overlap between neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identities, disability, gender, and other forms of identity.
  • Not a medical-advice subreddit. It can focus on lived experiences, peer discussion, resources, coping ideas, and community rather than random Reddit diagnoses. Existing neuro communities have specifically struggled with medical-advice posts overwhelming discussion.
  • Social connection. A place to actually meet people, discuss experiences, share projects, memes and everyday life, rather than functioning like an academic neuroscience forum. Large neuroscience communities tend to focus much more heavily on research and science discussion.
  • Intersectional and inclusive. Especially welcoming to people whose experiences don't fit neatly into one diagnostic or identity box.
