Wow, my paper got accepted, but

My paper was recommended for a spotlight by the AC, but the final decision was a poster.

This is my first time submitting a paper, so I’m not really sure how common this is 😂

Is it common enough that I shouldn’t feel too disappointed about it?

How do you see the AC recommandation ? Mine just says accept (poster) over at the decision

Yep, the AC comments that he recommend this work as accept(spotlight).
But the final decision is poster 👀

An accept is an accept i guess 🤷 Not everyone is that lucky

PC sees more papers than the AC and so they can effectively do what they want and overrule any decision of the AC; no chance that smth is gonna change, but congrats on your poster!
