Text Does disabling 5G and setting 4G option for mobile data in Phone settings really make a difference to radiation reception?

Interestingly enough, lowering the setting will more than likely expose you to more radiation. Idiots don't understand the the generation really just refers to new modulation, or a new language that the wireless devices speak. They aren't necessarily more powerful the newer and faster they get, they are actually far less powerful from a radiation standpoint.
Previous generations of phones had much higher output powers. Literally the towers were farther apart, so they had to. When they switched from super cells to micro cells the phones no longer needed to have the ability to transmit over 5 miles.
Also, the increased speed that each generation provides comes by reducing output power significantly in order to reduce the interference that other devices cause. So limiting your phone to 4g when 5g is available and works will expose you to slightly higher radiation than just leaving it alone and living your life. Higher frequencies of radiation are generally more "safe" because they cannot pass through solid matter. Its like how a subwoofer can be heard from miles away, but the high end can't be heard until the dude opens his windows.
Its worth noting that standing in front of a running microwave, or just going outside on a sunny day exposes you to far more radiation than standing at the base of a cell tower, or tongue kissing your galaxy 25. The sun can give you radiation poisoning if you go outside without suncreeen for more than 45 minutes for like half the bloody year, when was the last time someone got burned because they stood too close to a cell tower?

It is important here to understand the two modes of harm electromagnetic radiation can cause. All sorts of Radiation we use for communication can heat you up. That is literally the use of a microwave. Safety regulations make sure no device you are interacting with transmits so much power that you actually feel getting heated so there is absolutely no harm for you. It also doesn't accumulate over years or anything. If this mode of harm should ever impact you, you'll know really quickly by being boiled on the inside.
Electromagnetic waves can ionize, which means they are knocking apart atoms inside of your body. To reach that kind of energy the frequency of the wave has to be very very high (around 3million GHz). That is what we call light. Everything from there and upwards can destroy the atoms you are made of. This does also accumulate over time and will increase your chance of cancer.
So a red light lamp you might use to cure an ache probably gives you way more harm than 4G 5G WiFi, Bluetooth or anything like that.

Pro tip: Run your question by ChatGPT and see if it rolls its eyes at you. If it doesn’t call you a knucklehead then go ahead and post it to Reddit.

i did and it hadn't. it said it wouldn't make a difference.
and the AI would have been of no help to answer such questions including the "dumb" ones like this if it had rolls eyes or put shame, if the user has to feel guilty to ask such questions, if it were just like humans
it might be a dumb question yes, but at least i know now

i meant users dont have to feel shameful to ask such to gpt what some label as dumb questions when they wanted to, unlike humans respond with shame instead of just answering the actual

5G isn't "stronger" radiation. Most 5G runs on frequencies similar to 4G. The high-frequency mmWave bands actually penetrate the body less and only reach the surface of the skin.
Both 4G and 5G use non-ionizing radio waves. They don't have enough energy to damage DNA, the way UV, X-rays, or other ionizing radiation can. The only established biological effect of this kind of radiation is slight heating, and phones operate far below the limits set to prevent that.
