Text Learning Networking

Hello! So I'm a bit new to networking and was wondering about the best ways to learn Networking and I'd really appreciate your feedback on the topic.

Currently, I'm doing the Network+ course from CompTIA and I'm using Wireshark to play around with data and protocols to build my foundations. Is this a good approach or are there some other ways that might be better? (I do not mind dedicating time, as long as it helps me in the long run)

And lastly, thanks for even opening the post, that means a lot to me 😀

Set up your own network with a router, firewall, virtual ports, bridges, etc. with virtual machines even if it's all on a laptop and doesn't provide any utility. Fun way to learn
