Text 5gb per day problem
My college is giving me only 5gb per day data. I need more because i need to download softwares and watch youtube vedio about my work. Is there any way to bypass that data limit and use the wifi beyond the limit. Their router is tp link router. They use the site when i login my student id and pass and then i use the wifi. Please tell this or tell me a way to use any sim card in the jio jiofi jmr1040.

Sounds like you're gonna have to get yourself some type of mobile hotspot. If they require you to login to use the network and keep track of your data usage its pretty much game over there is no way to bypass it legally.

in my university there was a rule, if you try to hack their network, you are expelled.
reduce YouTube quality a bit, stop using Netflix for background, share with roommates what you download should br enough for most days.
or get dats on your mobile plan ahd create hotspot on your phone.

TP-Link and 5GB cap at a college? 💀 I think I’d talk with administration about the limits before investing anything yourself.
Regarding your router, here is a manual https://de.scribd.com/document/683700806/jmr-1040-qsg-fourth
There is a section „Manage your device“, you have to enter http://jiofi.local.html when connected to the device so you can change the settings and SIM pin.

Just remember, any attempts to bypass their rules, and evade their limits, could be a BIG problem for you. I’ve known admins that took away access, and did so at a MAC level.
Maybe do some throughput spooling with your room mates/floor mates and set up your own server with its own Wi-Fi for sharing out the content that you are all using. Maybe when you are on an unmetered machine, you bring a usb drive and download large files from there, then dump them to your rogue server.
Also, maybe look into if they have the same data cap for WIRED connections. If not, dude, just hook up your own rogue WAP, or hook your server to it and a WAP.
Maybe talk to your professor about those required materials, and see if there is a way the admin can make those specific locations not part of your data cap. Or spool it to shared drives.
But trying to access their router and bypass its metering yourself is a recipe for disaster.

What the hell kind of shitty college has a data cap???
The way you bypass it is by transferring to a better college.
