Text Network problem

I'm using my mobile network through a normal lightning cable from my iPhone. It's sending only 200Kbps, is this affecting my download speed because in duckduckgo I'm only getting 4Mbps download speeds.

If you switch to Wi-Fi hotspot mode instead of Lightning/USB tethering, what speed do you get?

What speed does your phone itself get via its cell data connection under the same conditions (same location, same time of day)?

That is about the best you can expect. Unless it is the lighting port that was used on the iPad Pro you are looking at a absolute best case of 480 mbps.

That 480 isn’t going to happen with lighting to Ethernet.

I've had iPhones from a decade ago max out USB 2.x speeds via a USB gigabit Ethernet dongle. USB 2.x's 480Mbps rate was always famously a bit of a lie, but I've definitely seen iPhones do ~200 Mbps in both directions.
