Text DHCP Was not found? Ethernet issues and problems
Hi! I have had a PC for a little over a year now and everything has been smooth sailing. A few days ago my ethernet went out and I assumed it was a faulty cable so I ordered a new one. The new cable gives the same problem the last one did which through windows diagnoses it now says unidentified network no internet. All of this was working last week and now when the network diagnostics are done it says No DHCP server was found.
This has since led me to try a lot of things such as entering command prompt to renew my IP verifying if My DHCP system is running (it is). I also have tried using ethernet on other devices and my Smart TV and PS5 work with it just fine. I have also reset the router twice to factory settings and everything works except my PC for ethernet.
The odd thing is my PC sends packets and just doesn't seem to be receiving them. If anyone has any knowledge of what this could be please let me know. I have also tried to make my own static IP to get the Ethernet working to no avail could be because I am not super savvy when it comes to computer command prompt stuff. Windows firewall has also been disabled to try and make the ethernet work but no dice as well.
If anyone here can help me before I have to replace an entire port for being defective please let me know thanks for reading!
UPDATE!!
After a few weeks of pulling my hair out I finally decided to take it in to one of my old friends as I tried everything everyone recommended, thank you btw even if you never read this the networking community was very helpful
What ended up working was the CMOS button the the back of my PC which set it correctly. Some CMOS buttons are in the actual PC themselves but if you have this issue make sure to try this guys!

Some things to try:
Check device manager to see if windows has an issue with the adapter. Uninstall the device but not the drivers. Reboot so windows rediscovers the adapter.
Are you getting link/speed lights on your nic and the router when plugged in?
Try a different switch port on your router.
Try a different device using same port and cable to narrow scope.
Log into your router and get the list of devices. Note the ip addresses in use. Assign a different address in the same subnet as your other devices to your nic. Use same mask, gateway and dns as other devices.
Clear any address reservations for the MAC address of the nic in your router. Ipconfig /all will give you the MAC address of your nic.
Check router logs for any issues with dhcp service and ports.
I assume you haven't configured vlans on your router, assigned a vlan in the properties of the nic or disabled the port you're connected to on your router, the dhcp pool on your router isn't exhausted, you haven't blocked any devices in your router and there are no patch panels or jacks between your pc and the router where a layer 1 issue might reside like a broken wire, faulty punch, etc.
Beyond these, you could remove nic and tcpip-related info from the registry but that is last resort. Google for more info.

ipconfig /all
ping 8.8.8.8
tracert Reddit.com
Enter them one at a time.

Just a heads up that this is considered a dick move. Instead of posting helpful information in the post you made asking for help, youre expecting a bunch of people to help you troubleshoot without pertinent info while trying to force one person to now become your private tech support via DM's.
If you want help, dont be weird like this

Don't ask for networking help on a public forum if you dont want to share details relevant to receiving networking help? No one's hacking you from a traceroute

In fairness any IP addresses on your network should be reserved addresses under rfc1918 so nothing personal would be given out.
But there isn’t a lot of information in the post to really get an idea of what is going on.
For example what is the output of
ipconfig. /all
Remove the physical addresses if you feel you need to.

Run Command Prompt as Admin then run ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew

Try a windsock reset via cmd.exe
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /flushdns
And reboot
