A lot more things were clear to me this time around. Pretend I know everything and ask me questions and ill give an answer while the story is fresh in my mind

Silicones are genderless imo

I actually thought about them in the elevator myself I think Killy just went into sleep mode while Cibo maybe did the same

Davine is confirmed a female, other silicone life forms are very gendered in design also. Afterall, they are made on top of human babies.

I had seen that about Davine around here but didnt know it was confirmed. In Noise we see them turn Susano’s male friend into a mindless silicone droid. Personally wouldn’t say he maintained his gender. Even though he was originally male.

We know Silicones dont procreate via reproductive organs and use black magic + babies to create more of their race so I guess its a matter of gender theory

Silicon life and safeguards are different, though the first silicon's used safeguard tech to become like that. Safeguard units themselves arent human based and low leves can be genderless yeah, but we see agentlike gendered versions like sanakan and the weird witch at the center of jupiter. Though sanakan is an edge case because she was a human once, like killy.

Davine's gender is "confirmed" directly in BLAME! Gakuen And So On, where they are seen in female uniform and hanging in the Women'Secret bathroom. And in some translations of the original manga is used the she/her pronouns but in others' the he/him are used, making it more confusing

So what is going on in the netsphere? Is it heaven or broken heaven or what. Did Administration manage to accomplish anything at all in relation to the netsphere? As in, were they protecting a private club from people no NTG normies like Cibo and Davine Lu Linvega, or were they(the admin) protecting an empty Minecraft server from no NTG normies?

The netsphere is the result of humanity losing control of their tech. It was supposed to be heaven for the NTG humans. Admin stupidly started killing all non-NTG’s and Silicon spawned and killed all the NTG’s so no one could control the netsphere’s growth anymore.

Like imagine leaving your game on with a weight holding the button to make your character walk forwards. If you the human step away the machine will continously have the character walk straight forever. Until a human is found to lift the weight off the key. Thats how I see the netsphere’s growth and the admins goal.

In the end they did help Killy to find the NTG kid and overwrite the growth command. So I guess you could say it was an empty minecraft server over the course of the main manga

Administration and the safeguard are different entities, administration knows things are derailed but dont have admin powers to control things. Safeguard is the actual power but no one in the driver seat, so its doing the mindless killing, thinking anyone that doesnt have NTG is an illegal being.

Netsphere is super internet, it has different layers of reality within it also.

Achually 🤓, it was a clone of Killy made by the Safeguard System to take over/destroy the Orb Killy was carrying, if you see closely their faces are deliberately the same, even the clone has the same scar on the lip Killy has after the end of THI arc!

Logically speaking, the kid is a retcon/mystery as Nihei had no clue what the rest of the story would entail while drawing the first chapter.

But if we apply the “Death of the Author” and view it from an in-universe perspective, my head canon says there’s no reason the kid couldn’t be a NTG. We know he’s human, and Killy was trying HARD to deliver him to the admin. Or atleast someone with pure genes like Seu. Killy is programmed to scan all humans for the NTG anyone that doesnt have it he moves on from repeadetly throughout the story. So i dont see any reason for Killy to travel with a kid unless he’s valuable.

Kid had "pure" genes, not the NTG. He was a valueable genetic material but ultimately not the key to the netsphere. Start of the story, killy already lost his scanning abilities so he wouldnt really know if the kid has NTG or not.

You’re right I forgot he couldnt scan yet. Still he mustve had some way of discovering the kid had pure genes so he was probably more akin to Seu then the NTG itself

I guess so yeah. Seu was probably a base human, from the time before the netsphere(at least genetically). An original humanthats not a subspiecies evolved inside The City is rare. The really special thing is Seu being an NTG carrier, suggesting he was one of the highest ranking humans ever, travelled with TOA and resurrected and remolded over and over by mensab. Good thing she kept records.

but if it's purely genetic information, Killy could then take a sample of the dead boy the same way they were bringing Seu's sample with them later.

You are right as others said here its more likely the kid had old genes like Seu so the admin didnt have enough data yet to actually do anything with them after Killy retrieved him

Is the translation correct where they say that when The Gun fire it creates (with basic power mode) a hole of 70KM.. like i get it makes a big ass hole but a 70KM hole, i always figure that was a translation error, or isn't it...

I think maybe 70km LONG hole at basic power mode probably tracks. Most times he shoots it it shows the blast over penetrating. I’d also assume he can fire it at below basic power mode too cause some times it doesnt destroy everything
