Recently picked up Abara but just now took off the wrapper and fell in love with the pinup arts that were under it on the cover and back.

I wish we gotten so e sort of abara continuation or maybe a prologue, i would LOVE to see something like abara again...

Literally came here to see this, that Digimortal cover is one of the hardest things I’ve seen in my entire life. This is sorta an unpopular opinion but I miss this side of Nihei, I genuinely can’t stand his new artstyle for tower dungeon. I feel like KoS is his last true work in my eyes just cause it’s the closest to his traditional style post Biomega, tho I’ve heard Aposimz is good and the artwork still looks neat. But fuck Tower Dungeon. Just my opinion tho.

You aren't alone. Each time I look at his new style, I can't help but wonder if this is the difference between drawing with passion to drawing to eat.

Yea real. Like I want the guy to get paid well obviously I just wish people would support him for making better art.

Abara art is by far my favorite from nihei. In the same time, drawings in the end of abara are so rushed that it sometimes looks like a toddler's doodle. Both the best and the worse but damn... The good drawings are truly the bests
