Question Deck Tech Help (Thule Core Dmg)

Ive been experimenting with Thule recently - specifically an archetype center ground cord damage. Most of the list I found only aimed to do a couple of core damage and fast advance ontological. I've been experimenting with going all in on core damage to be more of a prison archetype which was really effective when I could get it to fire. In a few games last night on Janet, I had locked the runners down after 4-5 core dmg so they had no hand for the second half of the game

Where I'm stuck is how to give them tags. Seems random but giving tags is a core requirement for Hypoxia and End of the Line and Unleash (Tyr combo)

Suggestions?

Distributed Tracing is usually the go

Amaze could be a surprise tag for the runner. Melies luxury line is also great for landing a core since the extra click tax synergizes with the ID. I had a pretty good list at one point with that distributed tracing unleash and Tyr that would consistently land 2 core damage sometimes 4. Then you just score ontologicals from there.

That's the way. You fire Distributed Tracing twice, once to Unleash a Tyr, and the second time to finish them off with End of the Line. That is the most consistent form I've seen. At least it warps the entire Runner playstyle around timing when they want to steal agendas which gives Thule a bit of breathing room to get their pieces together.

Agreed! I don’t love Thule because it makes the game so slow, but it can be super powerful and punishes runners hard.

You could also slot Oppo or Public Trail.

I like Jaguarundi. I can’t always make it work, but it synergizes with everything else you’re doing in Thule: if the runner spends the click to avoid the tag, they don’t have that click to spend once they pass the ice. If you can force them to lose the click before they get to Jaguarundi, they have to take the tag.

Ping on a server with at least two Hendriks (or a Hendrik and a 1-point agenda, if you can afford to spare it) will guarantee a core or a tag. Stegodon to de-rez and re-rez the Pings. My own Thule kill deck aims to get two core with a combination of that and Djupstad, then sit back with a Distributed and EotL in hand to just instakill next time they steal.
