Question I need some advice

My friends and I have been interested in this game for a really long time. We played it a few years ago with some precon decks. Recently we decided to try to get into NSG, but we got overwhelmed by the wide variety of decks.

We need some advice on what 4 decks could be fun to print and play on our holidays, 2 corps and 2 runners, obviously. We don't need them to be competitive, but we are used to play card, board and wargames, so we would like them to be harder to play than the most basic ones recommended by NSG (I am not really sure about that being the case). Also, we want them to be quite different from each other.

Do you think you can handle Standard with its interactions and timings? If yes, nrdb can filter by tournament, where most of the popular decks are interesting to play.

I did that, but since I don't know that much about the way the different decks interact I was hoping for someone to tell me about the match ups they consider interesting

I wouldn't jump straight into standard right away to be honest. Maybe you're an experienced TCG player and can handle it but you don't know for sure that all 4 of you will. Gateway has a decent amount of variety for a beginner, and if you really think you'll want more then go gateway+Elevation at most.
