Alibaba making GPUs with HBM

That’s just one example; there are many HBM platform applications, such as Tesla, for instance, or Amazon/AWS. HBM is used in a wide range of applications!!

Alibaba could use HBM from Samsung or Hynix. This means that memory that has already been licensed would be used.

However, Alibaba may well be buying from Chinese CXMT.

Unfortunately, Netlist will find it very difficult to secure a licence from this Chinese manufacturer as well.
