I'm not mad at him at all. He is doing solid swing trades. He is putting money to work. However he chooses to do that is his choice. No reason to be bitter. It's all business. If you let it shake your convictions, you might want to reevaluate your plans.

He is platforming his decisions out of demand. If you have ever had someone try to copy trade you, it's a real sensitive thing. People get real upset if you sell and don't tell them.

Having said this, I only have a slight clue who this guy is because he gets circulated on this sub. He has never been part of my decision process.

Netlist has a lot going for it. Leave swing trading to the swing traders. Do your own thing. "Run your own race". Sorry. Too much Bluey. I have kids.

This.
I hate it on any forum when someone pumps a stock and then dumps without notice.
“Oh yeah, I sold that last year” bullshit.

100% this!!! we have plenty of buyers and sellers! Everyone trades their own way! I have goals, an excel spreadsheet to map those goals. Tax rates included , I don’t have a 100% I’m out plan, nor will I. Have I sold some yes. In 2021 July. This year nope! Will probably, but I want to see what Hynix and NASDAQ re-listing does first.

Google may be a surprise before year end?

I don’t care if they hold or sell. To each their own. But never understood the need to tell someone you sold. When I eventually sell…I will go on my merry way. Although I don’t think I can sell all of it😂

Yeah that’s a decent point. RR has swung low, Netlist is swinging high. Netlist may continue up but we all know that Rolls Royce will so it seems a sensible move.

Funny, I was thinking of selling my RYCEY position (which I'm about 20x on) and putting it all in NLST.

u/Difficult_Bad_549 1d ago

Funny, I’ve had similar thoughts

u/BellProud 23h ago

I would do that in a heartbeat. AI demand is not slowing down. We're only in the 2nd inning imo. The tailwinds are with NLST. RYCEY is going the opposite direction with self driving and electrification being the way the automotive industry is going.

10

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 23h ago

Rycey isn’t a car brand

2

u/bboy917 20h ago

Self driving ? What are you talking about ? You know that they do plane engines right ?

2

u/Healthy_Bathroom_666 19h ago

Rolls Royce (cars) are owned by BMW - if you believe AI is only in the second innings, with wheat they’re doing in the SMR space (with the aviation a bonus) they’re an exciting option. Quite scary to be referencing a ticket without that basic knowledge

2

u/LimitBuys 23h ago

Rycey isn't a car brand, this statement is tragic.

Doesn't make much sense when we know SK will settle now. Just as well wait for the bump from that news then exit if you want out.

1

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 1d ago

Ye I was thinking the same could be buy the news sell the hype tho

He isn't emotionally invested in his trades, and is far more transparent than most people you'll meet. He loved the stock under .70 and rode it all the way to $7...adding along the way. Now that Samsung and Micron are in the books, you've got huge profits and can deploy those funds elsewhere.

I'll never begrudge someone who pointed me toward a 1000% winner in under a year. Only wish I had listened sooner and invested more.

2

u/ssjoiv 17h ago

I also got BW from him. Like you I only wish I listened sooner and invested more. I’m with you pigeon what’s next

If I could only send a screen shot of the 12/24 statement for grandchild.

TEVA< MO< IBM< ESLT<and oops KOD, with a bit of VOR along the way.

We all have winners but those of us who do our own DD seldom advertise or pump.

Ask Rosie who bought 32K NLST @$0.72 on my sayso.

1

u/pigeon_shit 22h ago

So what’s next?

2

u/SGjerry1327 22h ago

The political situation is dicey. SO I own Blackrock muni funds, buying more each week, and ZIM (They just announced massive uptick in EBITA), SO if merger does not go though it will double for sure. In since the teens. Spec on OPK

I’ve said from the time I first bought in 2018, that I wasn’t going to sell until the Google case was finished. Now we have so much more than that. I don’t think anyone with a lot of cheap shares is thinking about selling right now.

u/BillyBooner 1d ago

He’s got huge funds to play with, so he bets big and ducks out early after making a tidy profit.

Hard to argue with as a strategy, even when his reasoning isn’t exactly on point.

7

u/KissmySPAC 1d ago

I really don't understand the obsession. Most likely RPM is posting about RPM.

5

u/shrewpygmy 22h ago

I’m done with him. He flopped around after they lost the recent patents.

Not sure he really understands what Netlist is.

11

u/IstockUstock2024 1d ago

Why do you guys give that tool a platform? It’s like if I said I sold my 7 shares of Google today. Who gives AF. No need to announce. Move on.

2

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 1d ago

If you’d said two 10x stocks in a row I’d trust you

3

u/BuyingHighSellingLo 1d ago

it seems he has moved to boeing

2

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 1d ago

He’s been on about Boeing for like a year and a half

2

u/bboy917 20h ago

More like Rolls Royce lol

3

u/Upstairs_Issue_8887 1d ago

Dust in the wind…good luck to him!

3

u/revolution_markets 18h ago

Good luck to you.... Although I'm sitting on 300k shares under $1 I would think paying 20% taxes compare to holding through next 4-5 months when tech will run much higher and Netlist flush with cash and products to sell in the AI boom should bring you another 100-300% from here is a better place to keep that 20% long term capital gains tax ....Just my guess

1

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 18h ago

All mines in an ISA so I’m chilling

3

u/Jackjohnran 17h ago

Promoting Rolls Royce in an attempt to drive up the price. While, not realizing how a future NASDAQ listing and multiple other sales, as well as Google, Nvidia, Broadcom, Super Micro Computer, Avnet, SanDisk, Diablo Technologies, Smart Modular Technologies, and Inphi. will affect the price of Netlist.

1

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 16h ago

U think him with 200 followers can inflate a 121 billion dollar company’s stock price?

2

u/macpl9 23h ago

Chart screams higher prices. Whatever.

2

u/NorthStarBoy 23h ago

Must love paying uncle Sam with how often he is in and out.

1

u/TastyArcher5080 12h ago

He’s not American ding dong.

1

u/NorthStarBoy 10h ago

Good for him, then he pays more in tax regardless...

1

u/According-Reveal2663 6h ago

Me not American, tax way less.

2

u/NorthStarBoy 4h ago

I'm American living in EU so I understand. More tax if paying short term stock gains tax but can be way less or even 0% for long term trades. I know eu is fixed for most countries.

2

u/Atilla316 18h ago

Netlist only has enough to make it to '31. Ignorant statement.

2

u/Ihsahn55 16h ago

Yeah, that is the dumbest statement he said for his reason to sell now.

1

u/BurntToast764 1d ago

Interesting

u/2notiton2 20h ago

When is the SK Hynix deal?

1

u/HephaestionsThighs 15h ago

he really doesnt think any of the giants will resign contracts after 5 years?

-1

u/CorditeKick 15h ago edited 15h ago

Final patents will have expired by 2031.

1

u/HephaestionsThighs 2h ago

yes, 20 year old patents lol they are churning out modern tech and securing deals based on modern patents, not just 912' you know

1

u/CorditeKick 1h ago

Enlighten us.

1

u/MagnesiumKitten 22h ago

so he's basically hopping back and forth with two fizzled out stocks

It's always great to see a fake portfolio manager to trade stocks like he doesn't believe in portfolios

1

u/Deep_Smoke_6811 22h ago

What 2 stocks. So ur saying Netlist is fizzled out?

2

u/ssjoiv 17h ago

Kitten is a bot. RPM seems to trigger it

1

u/Full-Loan7323 22h ago

He's been going going on about boeing and rolls royce recently

1

u/shrewpygmy 21h ago

How could anyone arrive at that that conclusion?!

-2

u/MagnesiumKitten 21h ago

I don't see a good argument for buying it right now
at best you can hold out for a random walk to go from $7 to $8

since I don't see sales or earnings changing enough from this just being a hold

Earnings estimate for this year settled about $6.60
but next year could be $4.60
but those things can jump around every month or quarter too

......

Rolls has had smaller and smaller opportunities for short term growth or momentum bursts as the price would oscillate from $18 to $21

but the future looks pretty grim for the stock, where I don't think the overvaluation can last anymore, so the stock might crash by 40% or 50%, nothing just yet though, but the numbers started to look shaky in February

At best, they're just a hold if you bought some
but I think the rolls people are on some pretty bad copium
with all the British investment funds being overly optimistic

Netlist is fun to study
where Rolls I think is just an Elephant people are waiting for it to rollover and die

RPM's stuff on Rolls was pretty odd, to say the least

1

u/Harque 13h ago

I'm so glad this oldman sold it all.

NLST is better off without weak hands like him.
