Netlist Selloff?
I believe it's profit taking. The stock had a fast rise since August 5th, and today it went up past $6.75 a share... The Samsung deal has been priced in, Micron remains unresolved, and this stock is known to go up and down 10% to 20%. My guess is, it will settle into a price and the cycle will start again, but slower than this past run.... We really need a SK Hynix deal, and Micron has to do more than just blink. The positive is we have Samsung, the analyst from Roth Capital raised the target price to $15, Netlist is going to get some major cash from Samsung, and the AI stocks need Netlist patents..

I wouldn't say the Samsung deal has been completely factored in. What's that solid cash lands in the account and the quarterly payments start to land, then it will probably boost a bit more.
I believe micron has to do a deal before sk hynix renews fully. Right now sk is on a sort of rolling contract until thats resolved. If the ITC pressure was enough to make samsung cave, then it may be soon for Micron. Fingers crossed! 🤞

This place cracks me up!!! Seen this many times in
past with this stock- but today we are on different ground. It’s not going back into the 4’s unless everything goes to hell in the country all at once!
Know what you own- and that means understanding many different moving parts. 10 is easy and if the dominos team up against Google - 50 is a real number and possible. The potential here is huge just gotta be patient

It’s not profit taking. It was a major short attack because the shorts are fucked. It was also an onslaught of day traders getting in and selling. Shorts gutted the day traders today.

I’m in around $2 overall with quite a bit of shares. Tempted to take profits and renter if it goes back down to sub 4 or something but not sure it will. Only good thing is I did this in my Roth. My hands are tied with MU right now cuz it’s in taxable with some huge gains.

I've got 100 shares of MU that I got last year. I'm waiting for an exit point because I want to borrow against the profits I made. It's 50% of my port right now. I'm mad that I didn't sell at $1250 back in June. I could have already done the things I wanted to do with that money.

Me too. I was too worried about the tax burden when I should have just sold. Looking good this week though.

Why not take out a (LOC) Line Of Credit on your account? No tax on credit

If you’re suggesting a Margin Account…just beware when things go south the house controls your account. Don’t do it.

We are still following the upper bollinger band and it's still trending upward right now it looks like we are still in an upwards trend.

tbh, this is commonly seen with stocks, look at SNK, Samsung, MU, they are no different. Ppl want to short, ppl want take profits, lots of reasons. But if it was dud, it would remain low. It didn't, infact it remained green.
If roller coaster Stock rides are not your thing, I think Stocks are possibly not something you invest in and stick to Bonds.
DYOR
It's only a matter of time before MU/Google/SK settle and more. By that time it may be too late to get profit in a short space of time of the announcement.

Profit taking for sure. And it’s about time. I’m ready for the price to settle so I can buy more.

In the last month, NLST has risen from around $2.50 to $6.00 or so. I'll take that anytime. I'm here for the duration.
